Server Licensing

Exchange Resource Manager resides on the Exchange Server and controls functional processes such as reservations, changes and notifications. Each server that hosts resource mailboxes managed by ERM requires a license file with an appropriate number of resources.

For example, if your organization has three Exchange Servers, each hosting resources, then your organization requires three Exchange Resource Manager licenses. However, if your organization has four Exchange servers, but only two host resources, then your organization needs only two Exchange Resource Manager licenses.

One Exchange Resource Manager Server: $650.

Resource pricing

By adding the appropriate number of resources to your license, all of your organization’s resources can be managed by Exchange Resource Manager. Resources are any mailboxes that will use ERM to auto-respond to meeting requests sent by users. Typically these include conference rooms, shared laptops, company cars, VCRs/TVs, and projectors.

If you only need two resources, you can use our free version of Exchange Resource Manager with no time or functionality limits. No license is needed to use the free version of ERM.

If more than two resources are needed, you may purchase an Exchange Resource Manager license and add resources to this in increments of five. For example, if you have a single Exchange Server running 23 resources, you need an Exchange Resource Manager license with 25 resources.

One group of five resource licenses: $55.
Enterprise licensing: 2000 or more resources.

Calculating Cost

Click on the Quote Calculator and enter the number of resources you plan to manage with Exchange Resource Manager. The Quote Calculator includes the cost of one Exchange Resource Manager Server plus the number of resource licenses you enter. If you plan to manage resources on multiple servers, you will need to add the costs of any additional licenses.

Methods to purchase ERM

ERM may be purchased and delivered electronically using either Visa, Mastercard, or American Express. For an additional $25 processing fee, you may use this online system to generate a price quote and purchase order for ERM. Once the purchase order and payment are remitted to Simpler-Webb, we will generate and return the appropriate license keys to you.
