The SAS-70 Report substantiates Simpler-Webb has the necessary controls and processes in place to run their business and supply IT services to their clients. In today’s environment, service organizations must demonstrate they have adequate controls and safeguards when they host or process data belonging to their customers. Simpler-Webb’s SAS-70 certification provides important information on internal controls which are helpful for their clients’ auditors to ensure they are in accordance with the requirements of regulations such as Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002.
